JUBILEE (NYC / NIGHTSHIFTERS)
Surrounded by nightlife since her early years in South Florida,
Jessica Gentile discovered her obsession with late night club music.
Powered by Miami Bass, Breaks and Grime she moved to NYC and began her
slow rise to nightlife fame by DJing local events, earning notoriety
for her deep knowledge of electronic genres and particular expertise
in bass. Her sets earned her various DJ nicknames from JOLT to 4AM
JESS finally settling on a tribute to X-Men character, JUBILEE who
generates fireworks and is Wolverine’s fierece sidekick. All her hard work and
kilelr late night sets paid off and Jubilee eventually became the New
York resident for Modular Records, a blogger for Trash Menagerie,
Production Manager at famed nightclub Studio B, and Publicity Director
for her new rave music label, Nightshifters. When she’s not jet
setting to Iceland and Berlin to drop her new beats, in the studio
working on her upcoming EP, or making mixtapes for Discobelle and
clothing line Mishka you can find her holding down her monthly
residency Flashing Lights with her well known colleagues DJ Ayres (The
Rub), Nick Catchdubs (Fools Gold) and a slew of infamous guests.
